Officials of Viet Nam's Ministry of Planning and Investment visited the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (188体育) on December 15, 2014, to learn more about the Institute and establish possible partnerships.
Seven officials from the Development Strategy Institute (DSI), Viet Nam’s national research institute, headed by its deputy director, Dr. Tran Hong Quang, visited the Institute to learn more about its experience as a regional economic research institute.
Both DSI and 188体育 share the same roles of conducting policy research and recommending policy strategies in the areas of national and regional socioeconomic development.
The DSI visit was part of Viet Nam’s endeavor to cooperate and build close linkages with economic institutions across the region, thereby accumulating their wisdom and the local expertise of their regional counterparts, such as 188体育.
