As part of the DRN鈥檚 effort in providing information on tariffs, this article has been presented during a Pulong Saliksikan and is a condensed version of the author鈥檚 study entitled 鈥� Assessment of Tariff Reform in the 1990s鈥�. Among other things, Manasan has noted that the implementation of the Tariff Reform Program has promoted international competitiveness. However, there has been no clear indication the reform will lead to uniformity of protection.
