Though the name has changed—from National Economic and Development Authority CAR to the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development Cordillera Administrative Region (DEPDev Cordillera)—its dedication to promoting open access to research remains unwavering.

SERP-P Project Director Melinda Quiñones and Project Manager Ezekiel Nicomedes recently met with DEPDEV CAR to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration this year, advancing their shared mission of making socioeconomic research more accessible to policymakers, researchers, and the public.

The team was warmly welcomed by Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Apollo Edwin S. Pagano, Development Research Division Chief Ma. Emelie G. Daquipil, and Economic Development Specialist II Mr. Joshua Joseph Sibaen.

Together, both institutions continue to champion transparency, evidence-based policymaking, and open access to vital development information in the Cordillera region and beyond.
